Golden Triangle with Tribals Duration: 21 days/20 nightsPlaces to See: Delhi – Jaipur – Ranthambore - Agra – Khajuraho – Bandhavgarh - Jabalpur - Raipur - Bastar /Jagdalpur - Narayanpur – Raipur - Delhi Day 01: Arrival at Delhi On arrival at Delhi, you will be met by our company representatives and transferred to the Hotel. Check into the Hotel and relax. Day 02: Delhi Breakfast at hotel. Morning full day guided sightseeing of Old Delhi. Visit the historical landmarks & monuments. Afternoon - sightseeing of New Delhi city. Evening free for cultural activities. Overnight at the hotel. Day 03: Delhi - Jaipur After breakfast, drive to Jaipur. On arrival, check into a hotel. Proceed for half day guided city tour including City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar, etc. Evening, enjoy a drive around the local streets of Jaipur. Overnight at the hotel. Day 04: Jaipur After breakfast, guided excursion to Amer Fort - the ancient capital of the state until 1728. Ascend to the fort on a gaily-decorated elephant. Experience the Kingly palace buildings. Evening free for wandering around the bazaars where one can choose from precious gems to a variety of handicrafts. Overnight at the hotel. Day 05: Jaipur - Ranthambore Morning, drive to Ranthambore enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri and other nearby places. After sightseeing continue drive to Ranthambore. Arrive Ranthambore and check into a hotel. Day 06: Ranthambore Morning jungle visit to park in deluxe canter. Afternoon jungle visit to park in deluxe canter Day 07: Ranthambore - Agra After breakfast, proceed to Agra, the city of the world famous 'Taj Mahal'. Enroute visit Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, option to enjoy Boat ride here & later also visit Fatehpur Sikri. See Darbar-e-Aam, Palaces, Panch Mahal and Taansen Seat, etc. Arrive in Agra & check into a hotel. Overnight at the hotel. Day 08: Agra - Khajuraho After breakfast, transfer to Khajuraho. On arrival transfer to the hotel. Afternoon, tour of Western & Eastern groups of temples, including the Kendariya Mahadeo temple - the largest and the most typical example of Chandela architecture, the Chausath Yagini, Chitra Gupta temple etc. Overnight at the hotel. Day09: Khajuraho – Bandhavgarh Morning after breakfast check out and drive to Bandhavgarh, on arrival transfer to the Jungle Lodge for relaxation. In the evening enjoy campfire and meeting with the jungle experts. Overnight at the lodge. Day10: Bandhavgarh Morning after breakfast jungle excursion by jeep. Evening discussions with conservationist and tiger expert. Overnight at the lodge. Day11: Bandhavgarh Early morning jungle excursion by jeep. Return to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, trek to Bandhavgarh Fort situated at the highest point of Bandhavgarh hills. Also study the water management system. See the archaeological find of over 1000 years and study the unique topography of the Park from a birds-eye view, visit to the rural schools at Bandhavgarh Evening recap of the day’s activity, see the activities of Tiger Trust supported by the Lodge and walk through Medicinal Plant garden, study conservation practices of the Lodge such as solar cooking, solar water heating, vermiculture, and study the unique architecture of the Lodge, which is mud huts, and a unique Indian Village. A lecture on astronomy will follow, including stargazing with a telescope. Overnight at the lodge. Day12: Bandhavgarh – Jabalpur Morning visit the rural schools and the little town of Bandhavgarh. Later checkout and drive to Jabalpur. On arrival transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Jabalpur. Day13: Jabalpur After breakfast sightseeing of Jabalpur, a city famous for its Marble Rocks. After a picnic lunch at the grounds of the Marble Rocks, board a rowboat for the leisurely trek 2 kms, up the gorge and wait viewing the rocks by moonlight. Return to the hotel for overnight. Day14: Jabalpur - Raipur Next day, after breakfast, transfer to Raipur. Overnight stay in Raipur. Day15: Raipur - Bastar - Jagdalpur Morning, in time transfer to Baster. On arrival, we drive to Jagdalpur, the district headquarter of the famous Bastar region. Bastar is called the 'Kashmir of Chhattisgarh'. On the way to Jagdalpur, enjoy a picnic. Here you get the stunning glimpse of the lush green forests of Keshkal and Bastar. Arrive at Jagdalpur and check into the Hotel. Overnight stay will be at Jagdalpur. Day 16: Jagdalpur - Kanger Valley National Park After breakfast, we drive to the famous Kanger Valley National Park. Kanger Valley is known for its unique wildlife and beautiful and verdant surroundings, considered as one of the finest virgin forests tracts on earth. We'll also explore one of the limestone caves of the region, known for beautiful stalagmite and stalactite formations. The region is known for its unique tribal population. Visit some of the tribal homes and interact with them to learn something about their culture. Later, enjoy a leisurely picnic lunch at the famous Tiratgarh Falls. Relax yourself, while enjoying the falls and the lush vegetation. In the evening return to hotel for dinner. Overnight stay will be at Jagdalpur. Day 17: Jagdalpur - Chitrakote - Nagarnar - Jagdalpur After breakfast, visit the famous and enchantingly beautiful Chitrakote Falls, the horseshoe shaped waterfall created by the Indravati River, popularly known as the Niagara of India. Enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the Chitrakote Falls and be mesmerized by the rainbows arching across the turbulent flow. On your way back to the hotel, visit the Anthropological Museum, which provides an interesting insight into Bastar's tribal culture. After lunch, we'll drive to Nagarnar, famous for its terracotta handicrafts. In the evening return to hotel for dinner. Overnight stay will be at Jagdalpur. Day 18: Jagdalpur After breakfast at Hotel, enjoy a visit to the famous weekly market. The market displays a perfect picture of local tribal life. Afternoon free for independent activities. Explore the town, or just relax at your hotel. Overnight stay will be at Jagdalpur. Day 19: Jagdalpur - Narayanpur - Raipur After breakfast, we'll proceed to Raipur by surface. Enroute, enjoy side trip to Narayanpur. The place is known for its excellent handicrafts, which are considered the finest in the Bastar region. The bell metal, woodcraft, wrought iron and bamboo artifacts are wonderful. Arrive Raipur and check-in at hotel. Overnight stay will be at Raipur. Day 20: Raipur - Delhi In time transfer to airport to board the flight for Delhi. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Overnight stay will be at Delhi. Day 21: Departure After breakfast, morning at leisure. On time transfer to the airport or railway station to board flight or train for your onward destination or way back home with sweet memories of India.  |
